Field Hockey Advances To State Championship Game

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey team punched their ticket to the PIAA State Championship Game, defeating Central Columbia in overtime.  The Bubblers and Blue Jays played a highly competitive game with neither team being able to find a goal in regulation. Boiling Springs earned 10 corners and fired eight shots. The game went to overtime, and with 30 seconds remaining in the overtime period, Reagan Eickhoff blasted a shot into the back of the cage, securing the victory. Boiling Springs will face District 2 Champion Wyoming Area School District in the State Championship Game on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Valley High School.

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team remained undefeated, advancing to the District 3 Semifinals with an 8-0 win over #7 Annville-Cleona on Saturday, October 29. The Bubblers were led by Reagan Eickhoff and Reese Hays who each score a pair of goals Inside The Numbers - Reagan Eickhoff set the tone early, scoring the game's first goal. She finished the night with two goals and an assist - Reese Hays scored back-to-back goals in the third quarter, helping extend the Bubblers lead to six - Shae Bennett scored late in the first quarter off a corner, blasting a shot into the back of the cage - Genna Bush finished the first half on a high note, scoring with just over two minutes before halftime - Lexi Boyle tacked on a goal, scoring on break in the third quarter - The Bubblers are now 20-0 this season, and have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 144-3 Who’s Next The Bubblers will host #6 Newport (15-3 Overall) on Wednesday, November 2 for a berth in the District 3 Championship game.  
Hanlin Nets 100th Goal In District Victory

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team opened play in the District 3 Tournament by routing #15 Bermudian Springs by a score of 11-0 on Wednesday, October 26. During the game, Lexi Hanlin scored a goal, earning her 100th career point in the process. The Bubblers did not wait long to get the offense rolling, with Genna Bush finding the back of the cage just 44 seconds into the game. The purple & gold tacked on another goal when off a corner, Shae Bennett rocketed a ball toward the goal and Alex Bandura directed it past the goalie to make the score 2-0.  The Eagles slowed the Bubblers onslaught temporarily before Lexi Hanlin took over. Hanlin scored two goals in just over a minute to extend the lead to four. Haley Lenker got into the act, scoring off a fast break. In the closing seconds of the half, Reese Hays found Reagan Eickhoff for a goal, giving Boiling Springs a 6-0 edge going into the half.  Hanlin scored the Bubblers lone goal of the third quarter off a pass from Eickhoff, giving Hanlin a hat trick. In the process, Hanlin earned her 100th career point becoming the third current Bubbler to reach the mark. She would not stop there, scoring her fourth goal of the game in the fourth quarter. Bush dished out two assists, setting up Lexi Boyle and Hays for goals. Eickhoff finished off the win, scoring her second goal of the game and securing the 11-0 victory.    The Bubblers dominated the game, outshooting the Eagles 31-1 and holding a 9-4 edge in corners. Boiling Springs is now 19-0 this season and has outscored their opponents by a score of 136-3.    Boiling Springs will continue their run through the District 3 Tournament when they host #7 Annville-Cleonna on Saturday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. The Dutchmen are 15-4 this season.

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team finished the regular season 18-0 after winning a thrilling overtime match up over Bishop McDevitt, 2-1 on Thursday, October 20.  Boiling Springs grabbed the lead in the second quarter when Lexi Hanlin found Reese Hays for a goal. The Bubblers held that 1-0 lead in the closing seconds of the game, but the Crusaders earned a penalty corner and scored with no time remaining on the clock to send the game to overtime. The Bubblers would return the favor with Alex Bandura scoring on a corner with no time left in the extra period to secure the victory.   The Bubblers finished the regular season having outscored their opponents 125-3. They are currently second in the District 3 power rankings and will host the first round of Districts on Wednesday, October 26. More information to be announced soon.   
Field Hockey Defeats Susquehanna Township

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team kept its undefeated season rolling, defeating Susquehanna Township by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday, October 19. With the win, the Bubblers improved to 17-0 on the season.    Inside The Numbers - Lexi Hanlin led the Bubblers offense, scoring two goals and dishing an assist - Reagan Eickhoff scored the game's first goal, striking on a penalty corner early in the first quarter - Lexi Boyle rocketed a ball into the back of the cage midway through the second quarter - Alex Bandura and Shae Bennett each handed out an assist   Who’s Next The Bubblers will look to complete an undefeated regular season when they travel to face Bishop McDevitt on Thursday, October 20 at 3:45 p.m.  
Eickhoff Notches 200th Point On Senior Night

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team hit another historic milestone as Reagan Eickhoff earned her 200th career point in the teams 7-0 win over Big Spring as the Bubbler celebrated senior night on Monday, October 17. The Bubblers honored seniors Shae Bennett, Genna Bush, Zoe Collins, Eva Hancock, Lexi Hanlin, Olivia Heyman, Jenah Hovis and Eickhoff. The group did not disappoint, scoring everyone of the Bubblers goals.    Inside The Numbers - Reagan Eickhoff continued to add to her legacy, scoring her 200th career point on a goal in the third quarter. On the night, she scored two goals - Olivia Heyman scored the first goal of the game and later added an assist - Lexi Hanlin and Genna Bush each scored a goal in the first quarter - Zoe Collins found the back of the cage, scoring in the second quarter - Shae Bennett scored the final first half goal - The Bubblers are now 16-0 this season   Who’s Next The Field Hockey Team will travel to Susquehanna Township on Wednesday, October 19 at 4:00 p.m.

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team kept rolling, defeating Milton Hershey by a score of 11-0 on Thursday, October 13. The Bubblers looked impressive, battling through rainy and wet field conditions. Lexi Hanlin and Reagan Eickhoff each scored a hat trick in the win.    Inside The Numbers - Lexi Hanlin scored three first half goals and added an assist - Reagan Eickhoff found the back of the cage three times and added two assists - Haley Lenker scored the teams first goal of the game - Lexi Boyle netted a pair of second half goals - Shae Bennett and Genna Bush each scored a goal    Who’s Next The Field Hockey Team will return to action when they host Big Spring on Monday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m.

  The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team remained undefeated, taking down Middletown by a score of 10-0 on Wednesday, October 12. The Bubblers six different players found the back of the cage, led by Reagan Eickhoff who scored four goals.    Inside The Numbers - Reagan Eickhoff continue to pile on the goals, scoring four times - Genna Bush dished two assists and score a goal - Reese Hays struck, scoring in the first quarter - Alex Bandura capitalized on a stroke opportunity, scoring early in the second quarter - Lexi Hanlin scored twice in the second quarter, including a goal off a corner as the half ended - Shea Bennett buried a shot off a corner in the third quarter   Who’s Next The Bubblers will return home to face Milton Hershey on Thursday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m.  
Field Hockey Wins Overtime Battle With Greenwood

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team won an overtime battle with Greenwood, defeating the Wildcats 2-1 in overtime. The Bubblers trailed for the first time this season, allowing their first goal of the season early in the second quarter. Eight minutes later, Lexi Hanlin pushed the ball past the Wildcats goalie to tie the game at one going into the half. Neither team could find a goal in the second half, sending the game into overtime. In a golden goal situation, Regan Eickhoff gathered a loose ball and smacked into the back of the cage, securing the victory. Inside The Numbers - Lexi Hanlin tied the game in the second quarter - Regan Eickhoff delivered the game winning goal in overtime - The Bubblers had an 8-6 edge in penalty corners and 4-3 edge in shots on goal - Boiling Spring and Greenwood entered the evening both ranked in the top 3 of the district 3 power rankings Who’s Next The Bubblers will be back in action when they traveled to Middletown on Wednesday, October 12 at 3:30 p.m.  
Field Hockey Picks Up 12th Shutout Victory

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey Team continues to look unstoppable, shutting out Camp Hill, winning by a score of 9-0 on Monday, October 3. Reagan Eickhoff led the offensive charge, scoring twice and dishing a pair of assists Inside The Numbers - Reagan Eickhoff filled the stat sheet, finding the back of the cage twice and handing out a pair of assists - Gennna Bush struck twice in the first quarter, and she later added an assist - Reese Hays scored two times in the second half - Alex Bandura opened the scoring, blasting a shot past the Lions Goalkeeper just 3:22 into the game - Kate Yenser stretched the lead, scoring the game's second goal - Lexi Boyle scored the Bubblers lone goal in the second quarter Who’s Next The Bubbler have an impactful match with District 3A foe Greenwood, when they host the Wildcats on Thursday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are currently ranked in the top three of the District 3 power ratings.   
Bubblers Keep Rolling Against Crusaders

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey team picked up a major win defeating Bishop McDevitt by a score of 4-0 on Wednesday, September 28. The Crusaders were power rated third in District 3 A just behind the Bubblers. Reagan Eickhoff led Bubblers offense, scoring two key first half goals.  Inside The Numbers - Reagan Eickhoff continued to roll, scoring in the first and second quarters to help the Bubblers take a two goal lead into the half - Lexi Hanlin found the back of the cage in the fourth quarter and assisted on another goal - Alex Bandura scored the Bubblers final goal - Genna Bush and Reese Hays each notched an assist - Eva Hancock made four saves in goal - Boiling Springs held a 12-6 edge in corners and a 8-4 advantage in shots  Who’s Next The Bubblers host Camp Hill on Monday, October 3 at 5:30 p.m. in Ecker Stadium. Earlier this season, Boiling Springs defeated the Lions by a score of 9-0.   
Field Hockey Dominates Susquehanna Township In Gold Out

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey team continued its outstanding season, posting the team’s 10th shutout of the season, defeating Susquehanna Township by a score of 6-0. Reagan Eickhoff led the offense, scoring three goals. This game was Field Hockey’s Gold Out part of Boiling Springs Athletics Gold Out Week benefiting BSHS Mini-Thon Inside The Numbers - Reagan Eickhoff scored the game’s opening goal and added two more in the second quarter to complete the hat trick - Shae Bennett found the back of the cage just :55 seconds into the second quarter. She would also dish two assists - Olivia Heyman and Lexi Boyle each scored a goal in the second half - Genna Bush picked up two more points, handing out a pair of assists - Through 600 minutes of game play this season, the Bubblers are yet to allow a goal Who’s Next The Bubblers will be back in action when they host Bishop McDevitt on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m.  
Field Hockey Wins Home Tournament

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey team won the Lady Bubbler Field Hockey Tournament, defeating Greencastle by a score of 3-0 in their first game and then the team took down Carlisle in the championship game by a score of 4-0. In the Greencastle matchup, the Bubblers got on the board in the second quarter when Reese Hays found Alex Bandura for the game's first goal. Boiling Springs extended their lead in the third quarter when Lexi Hanlin scored off a great pass from Genna Bush. Reagan Eickhoff put the finishing touches on the victory, scoring to give Boiling Springs a 3-0 victory.    The Bubblers moved on to face Carlisle in the championship game and immediately raced out to an early lead. Bandura scored in the eighth minute off a pass from Eickhoff to grab a 1-0 lead. Four minutes later, Kate Yenser found the back of the cage, giving the Bubblers a 2-0 advantage. Hanlin tacked on a third goal in the opening quarter, extending the lead to three.  The Bubblers controlled the game, winning 15 corners and holding a 33-0 edge in shots. Hanlin tacked on a fourth goal in the final quarter, securing the 4-0 victory.   The Field Hockey team will return to action on Monday, September 26 when they host Susquenhanna Township in a Gold Out. The Gold Out games will all benefit BSHS Mini-Thon.  
Bubblers Blast Past Bulldogs

The Boiling Springs Field Hockey team continued its shutout streak, defeating Big Springs by a score of 8-0 on Wednesday, September 21. This season the Bubblers have outscored their opponents by a score of 64-0. Boiling Spring had a diverse offensive attack with six different players finding the back of the cage.  Inside The Numbers - Kate Yenser opened the scoring, striking just over three minutes into the game. Yenser added a second goal in the fourth quarter - Reagan Eickhoff collected a pair of goals, scoring in the second and fourth quarters - Genna Bush scored late in the second quarter and dished an assist in the closing seconds of the first half - Reese Hays, Lexi Boyle and Lexi Hanlin each scored a goal Who’s Next The Bubblers will host the Lady Bubbler Field Hockey Tournament this weekend with the team facing Greencastle on Saturday, September 24 at 12:00 p.m.

Boiling Springs Field Hockey celebrated Genna Bush’s 100th career point as the Bubblers blew past Middletown by a score of 13-0 on Monday, September 19. The Bubblers dominated play, holding a 19-0 edge in shots.  Inside the Numbers - Genna Bush became the newest member of Boiling Spring’s 100th point club blasting in a goal in the 26th minute. On the game, Bush scored two goals - Reagan Eickhoff continued to be a major factor in the Bubblers offense scoring two goals and dishing three assists - Lexi Hanlin blasted in three goals - Shae Bennett filled the stat sheets scoring once and passing a pair of assists - Reese Hays and Alex Bandura each tallied a goal and an assist - Lexi Boyle, Haley Lenker and Olivia Heyman each notched a goal - This season Boiling Springs has outscored their opponents 56-0 Who’s Next The Bubblers will travel to take on rival Big Springs on Wednesday, September 21.  Follow us on Twitter @GoBubblers to see all the most recent Boiling Spring Athletics News and Updates!

The Bubblers got on the board with a flawless execution of a penalty corner in the 1st quarter.  Junior Alex Bandura inserted a ball to Senior Reagan Eickhoff who struck the ball, placing it perfectly back to Alex at the post for a redirect and score.  The team would find the back of the net 10 more times, with goals coming from different players.   JV was also successful with a 3-0 win in the early evening contest. The Bubblers are back in action at Ecker Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 3, when they host Gettysburg.  Varsity plays at 2 PM, JV at 3:30 PM.
