Bubblers Complete Thrilling Comeback On Senior Night

The Boiling Springs Girls Soccer Team scored twice in the final 11 minutes to rally back and defeat Gettysburg 3-2 on Tuesday, October 18. Before the game, the Bubblers took a few minutes to honor the senior members of the team: Delaney Beardmore, Brinley Croft, Grace Disque, Peyton Ellis, Eva Hanlin, Paige Harris, Katlyn Long, Makayla Murphy, Skylar Snyder, Molly Starner, and Abigail Tilton.   The Bubblers trailed 2-1, entering the second half and put the Warriors under constant pressure, creating several scoring chances. With just over 11 minutes remaining in regulation, Boiling Springs earned a corner kick. Reese Hughes stepped up to take the kick, sending a well-placed kick into the box that fell at the feet of Grace Disque. Disque blasted a shot past the Warriors’ goalie to tie the game at two.   Having captured the momentum, Boiling Springs looked to take the lead. With eight minutes left in the match, Emma Surkosky gathered a loose ball in the defensive end and placed a great through ball in front of Ella Garman. Garman sprinted down the field on the fast break, drawing the Warriors’ defenders. She then slid a pass across the box to a wide open Molly Starner. Starner rocketed a shot into the back of the net, giving the Bubblers a 3-2 lead. The Bubblers defense made several key stops in the final minutes, securing the victory.   Boiling Springs will close the regular season when they travel to face Greencastle on Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m.

The Boiling Springs Girls Soccer team completed the season sweep of Big Spring, defeating the Bulldogs 5-0 on Wednesday, October 12. The Bubblers had a Pinkout as part of Pink October, a collected effort by the athletic department to raise awareness and funds for local cancer research charities. Boiling Springs was led by Molly Starner, had another outstanding performance, scoring three goals and assisting on the other two goals.    Inside The Numbers - Molly Starner had an explosive night, netting a hat trick and dishing two assists - Reese Hughes opened the scoring, striking midway through the first half. She later added an assist - Sophia Felix scored the games final goal, securing the victory   Who’s Next The Bubblers will return to action when they host Gettysburg on Tuesday, October 18 with the game scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. Boiling Springs will honor the senior members of the team.  
Girls Soccer Takes Down West Perry

For the second time this season, the Boiling Springs Girls Soccer Team defeated West Perry by a score of 2-0 on Monday, October 3. The Bubblers improved 9-3 overall this season with the win.  Inside The Numbers - The Bubblers took an early lead when Molly Starner found the back of the net - Sophia Felix scored in the second half to put the game out of reach Who’s Next The Bubblers will travel to face James Buchanan on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:30 p.m. Earlier this season Boiling Springs defeated the Rockets 4-0.   
Starner’s Goal Pushes Bubblers Past Warriors

The Boiling Springs Girls Soccer team took down Gettysburg by a score of 1-0 in their divisional matchup on Tuesday, September 27. The Bubblers took the lead on Molly Starner's first half goal. Boiling Springs has improved 8-2 overall this season.    The Bubblers will host Greencastle on Thursday, September 29 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be a Gold Out part of Boiling Springs Athletic Departments Gold Out week benefiting BSHS Mini-Thon.   
Bubblers Outpace Greyhounds

The Boiling Springs Girls Soccer team completed the season sweep of Shippensburg, defeating the Greyhounds by a score of 5-0 on Monday, September 19. Paige Harris led the offense, scoring twice in the first half to help the Bubblers take full control of the game. Inside the Numbers - Paige Harris scored in the and 17th minute and the 41st minute - Molly Starner struck in the 14th minute, scoring the team’s first goal. Women’s Soccer Picks Up Sixth Straight Win

The Boiling Springs Bubblers Girls Soccer Team continued their winning ways, defeating rival Big Springs by a score of 5-1 on Thursday, September 15. Sophia Felix and Molly Starner each scored twice and Ella Garman added a goal to help the team improve to 6-1 on the season.  Inside The Numbers - Sophia Felix scored the game’s first goal and struck again in the second half to secure the victory - Molly Starner scored twice in just under a minute in the first half to give the Bubblers a 3-0 lead  - Ella Garman opened the scoring in the second half, striking in the 60th minute Who's Next Boiling Springs travels to face Shippensburg on Monday, September 19 at 4:00 p.m. and will look to continue their six game winning streak.
