The girls team placed 7th out of 18 other teams today at the Ben Bloser Invitational meet at Big Spring. In the process they also placed ahead of a number of much larger AAA/AAAA schools like Northern York, Bellfonte, Conrad Weiser and Red Land.
Leading the girls was Peyton Ellis who finished a very close 2nd place with a time of 10:41.5 which would have been good enough to place 4th in the boy's race. Also finishing in the top 30 and earning a medal was Julia Steel who finished 14th out of 253 runners.
