Girl’s basketball opens another season this winter, building upon their 12-10 record (6-8 In Conference) they earned last year. Coach Elwood Kimmel returns in his 2nd year along with key players (seniors) Molly Kimmel, Mia Hemler, (Sophomores) Madyson Brownawell, & Madalynn Weidner. Kimmel and Brownawell were appointed to the Capital Division 1st and 3rd team (Respectively) last year. Molly Kimmel goes into her senior year wanting to continue her dominance, coming off a season where she led the team in every statistic other than Assists/APG and scoring 403 out of the team’s total of 837 points in 2023-24. The rest of the lineup aims to keep up with Kimmel in hopes of a possible playoff run, boasting an excellent start so far at 5-0.
