Members of Boiling Springs High School athletic programs, Football, Cheerleading and Volleyball, volunteered on Friday, June 28, 2024 to take part in the Carlisle Summerfair activities. 

Board Member, Heather Novack, shared in an email administration that "Carlisle Summerfair is a non-profit made up of all volunteer board members. Our goal is to offer free community-wide activities around the 4th of July. From concerts, open pool nights, Anything Floats at the lake, kids track meet, swing dance lessons, and tours, our events last over 10 days.  Carlisle Summerfair is now in its 47th year. I can remember going to it when I was a child and have been on the board for over 20 years to try and make sure it continues."

The event on June 28th, the kids carnival offered 10 games and children were ages 3-12.  They welcomed over 350 kids over the 2 hour timeframe.  

Ms. Novack shared "We had about 20 football players, over 6 cheerleaders, and 3 volleyball players staff the event. They all did amazing! It was refreshing to see these teens pour back into the community."
