Bubbler Athletics over the Holiday Break

Girls Basketball-

Over the break, the girls competed on their home court in the Holiday Alumni Tournament. They faced off with multiple opponents including Susquenita HS and Dover Area HS, knocking both of them out of the tournament. Giving them a chance in the championship round against James Buchanan. From the tournament, Abigail Tilton and Quonna McCarren also made the all-tournament team.
 

Boys Basketball- 

During the winter break, the boys competed in their Holiday Alumni Tournament. They faced off against teams such as Cedar Cliff HS, Carlisle Area SD, and Manheim Township HS. Boiling Springs Ryan Juliana also made the all-tournament team from the Boiling Springs Alumni Tournament as well.

Bubbler Swimming and Diving-

The swimmers competed at the Cumberland Valley Holiday Invitational. Most swimmers swam there fastest times this season including Braelen Mowe winning the 200 free with a time of 1:45.46 and the 100 breaststroke with a time of 59.37. Jillian Strine also won in the 100 back with a time of 1:01.26 and took second in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.03.

On the last day of the break, the swimmers and divers took on Mechanicsburg at home with the boys winning with a score of 102-65 and the girls winning with a score of 95-85.

Wrestling-

The wrestlers competed at the Trojan Wars tournament. Placing 13th out of 49 teams. Individually, many of the wrestlers medaled in their weight class. Drew Scherer in 7th, Ian Longenberger taking 8th, Eli Bounds placing 4th,

Ean Wilson coming in 8th, Michael Duggan taking 5th, and Colin Neal in 4th.
