In one of the biggest contests of the year, the Boys of B-Town did not disappoint. A game that had multiple lead changes, ties, and excitement, the Bubblers, trailing 28-21 in the final 3:33 minutes of the game, would capture the Mid Penn Capital Division in the most thrilling fashion. Colin Lunde found Joey Menke for a pass that would place the Bubblers on the 1 yard line with just over a minute to go. Aidan Metzger drove in for the score that would make it a 1 point game, in favor of Steel High with an extra point awaiting. The coaching staff made a gutsy call, one that would send a strong and consistent message to the team 'I believe in you, now go out and take what you've worked for'. The Bubblers did just that, capitalizing on a 2 point conversion to take the lead, 29-28, for good.
GO BUBBLERS!!!
