Boys Swim & Dive (13-1)

The boys’ team comes into the 24-25 season with little losses, losing only 2 senior captains. After being 2nd in the division only to Waynesboro last year the team hopes for their young cast to step up to the next level, getting past the hump to division champs. Seniors Ryan Kuffa, Chase Morton, (Captains) & Zain Snider hopes to lead the team along with veteran, Coach Matthew Brenner. Specifically the depth of the squad is what makes this team different, having Juniors Weston Rudge (IR), Victor Zheng, Tyler Blanchard and Sophomore Cameron Ackley. The dive team coached by alum Scott Houser is also looking for a big season heading out with 3 boys, led by Junior Preston Kuhn. They were able to send 5 swimmers and 1 diver to states last March, and plan to add to this total with an expanded upperclassman roster.

Girls Swim & Dive (10-4)

The girls’ team similarly to the boys, will start the 24-25 season with little losses, only missing out on 3 senior swimmers from last year. Experienced seniors Callie Mccann, Maggie Brenner (Captains) & Ella Garman return for their fourth and final year. With zero junior girls on the team, underclassman and a new cast of freshman hope to pick up the slack and contribute to a possible division winning run. Piper Heyman & Irie Greaser headline the sophomore class, with Heyman coming off an impressive debut last season while prospect freshman Liv Garman hopes to start her high school career on a good note. The girls’ dive team also starts the season with 3 girls, all of them sophomores. Specifically Carina Chen & Emma Simon will return, looking for breakout seasons and playoff runs.

Both swim teams will debut @ Waynesboro on 12/3 while diving will start their season @ Dover Invite on 12/6. Go Bubblers.
