The Boy’s Varsity Soccer team comes into the AAA playoffs as a #11 seed, ending the regular season with a 12-6 record, while JV Boys went an unprecedented 15-0-1 (first time undefeated in program history) The boys started the season with 9-2 before reaching the final stretch, where they would drop 4 close games to difficult playoff caliber opponents. The team has thrived on their defense, only allowing 16 goals through their difficult schedule. Ian Longenberger, Pierce Brownawell, Daron Steel, and Dylan Olsyzk (Captain) have been this season’s defensive core, and are set to hold Lampeter Strasberg’s consistent offense. The Boys’ attack is dangerous using speed on the wides of Evan Lenker, Logan Sokolofsky, and Bali Subedi. While Marc Becker, Luke Toner, and Jhonson Magar have finished in the middle this season. The team comes into their meeting against Lampeter-Strasberg with the hopes of an upset, trying to keep their season alive on this upcoming Monday.
