Fall Sports Spotlight - September 2024

Boys Soccer

  • Record: 6-2 (Overall) 4-1 (Conference)

With a disappointing season last year, the boys have started off better and stronger this year, winning their first 4 games with a combined score of 20-2. Conference play continues in the next week, with games against West Perry and Greencastle. With Shea Sporer, Tristan Seiber, and Dylan Olskyk in the lineup it will be difficult for other teams to compete.

Girls Soccer

  • Record: 7-1 (Overall) 6-0 (Conference)

Girls soccer has come out hot once again this year, based on a high scoring offense that has produced 16 goals in the last 3 games alone. They will try to continue their undefeated record in conference play in the next few weeks against Greencastle and West Perry.

Cross Country

  • Record: 2-2 (Boys) 4-0 (Girls)

After the season’s beginning meets, boys and specifically girls cross country have started the year well, having a great performance at the recent Dutchman’s Invite at Lebanon Valley. Both squads will meet in Big Spring for a multi-team competition next week.

Golf

  • Record: 21-3  (Boys) 1-0 (Girls)

Boys and girls golf continue their long and productive stint in the Mid-Penn this year, competing for the title. Later this season, we should be seeing multiple MPC appearances from the likes of James Sias, Sam Harbst, and Addison Fulton. Both teams will have 2 matches before playoffs in the next 2 weeks.

Volleyball

  • Record: 4-3 (Overall) 3-1 (Conference)

Girls volleyball has started the season as a competitor in the Mid-Penn Capital Divison through 6 matches, placing 3rd as of now. They hope to improve their overall record to above .500 against Middletown, Bishop Mcdevitt, and Steel High in the next month.

Field Hockey

  • Record: 5-2 (Overall) 3-1 (Conference)

Varsity field hockey has started the long season off well with statement wins against Susquehanna and Big Spring, scoring 18 goals in the 2 games alone. The team continues conference play with 4 games in the upcoming 2 weeks.

Football

  • Record: 1-3 (Overall) 0-2 (Conference)

The Bubblers started the season strong in the year’s opener, defeating Littlestown 35-7 at Bud Ecker Field. With 3 recent losses, the team goes away again to play Mid-Penn Colonial opponent East Penn this Friday night.

Come out for this upcoming weeks’ games to support our Bubblers!
