Boys Swimming and Diving goes Undefeated for a Second Season in a Row

Throughout the season, BSHS Boys Swimming and Diving continued their winning streak from the prior season. Taking down every team they faced with ease. It all came down to the final meet of the season standing between them and another undefeated season. Facing off against Palmyra, one of their closest rivals over the past few seasons.

Throughout the meet, the Bubblers and the Cougars were neck and neck score wise. Keeping up with one another through every event. However, the Bubblers had an advantage. First year diver Preston Kuhn (9) scored the team an additional 4 points during the diving event. Giving Boiling Springs a slim lead.

In the end, it all came down to the final event. The 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. An event that has determined that fate of may meets for the Bubblers. In order to win, the boys needed to take at least 2nd and 3rd place. Beating out some of Palmyra's top swimmers.

During the event, many swimmers were neck and neck through the race. One of which being the Bubblers A relay, landing the crucial 2nd place finish. But that was only half of the points the swimmers needed to score. For the win, it came down to the B relay for Boiling Springs composed of Aiden Werner (12), Weston Rudge (9), Adam Sheaffer (12), and Ryan Kuffa (10). Beating out the Cougars B relay by two tenths of a second. Winning the meet and earning another undefeated season alongside another division title.
