Bubbler Cheerleading Finishes Off Strong Season

Team Placements:

  • Competition One- 3rd Place

  • Competition Two- 3rd Place

  • Competition Three- 2nd Place

  • Competition Four- 3rd Place

This past weekend, the Bubbler Cheerleaders finished off a strong competition season with a third place finish at Spooky Nook. Even with the changes to their routine 24 hours in advance. They also received some of their highest scores to date at the competition.

During the competition season, one of the team's biggest highlights was when the girls “hit zero” twice. In cheerleading, this is a big deal for participants. It means that participants receive zero deductions on their performances which is a feat to achieve.

The type of competition our Bubblers compete in are called “Game Day.” The routine performed is made up of 4 different elements and is required to be around 3 minutes long. It starts out with a dance called a band chant. They then move into the situational sideline (defense or offense). From there. a crowd leading cheer. Finally, the performance is completed with a touchdown dance.

On the season overall, Coach Cassie Kreiser gave her thoughts. “This year was definitely a learning year for my assistant coach and myself because back when we cheered there wasn’t anything like this. That being said, we are very proud of our girls for working so hard these past several months. We know they made Bubbletown proud and can’t wait to see what all they accomplish next year.”
