Bubbler Athletics Partners with Pink Hands of Hope

During the 2022 fall sports season, the Bubbler Athletic Department was interested in raising awareness in the fight against breast cancer during the month of October. This included partnering with Pink Hands of Hope. A local organization that is committed to 'Helping Central Pennsylvania Women in their Fight Against Breast Cancer.' 

These events included Pink Out sporting for each sports team where every student-athlete was provided a Pink October T-shirt to wear during competitions, courtesy of the Bubbler Foundation. Student-Athletes from each team were also selected/ nominated by their head coaches to be members of the Student-Athlete Pink Committee. This committee was instrumental in the planning and organizing of the event dates for their teams.

Overall the Pink October competitions and events, raised a grand total of $2513.50 for the fight against breast cancer. The money was presented to the Pink Hands of Hope Executive Director and Volunteer Member on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023.
